2. Personal data we collect

  • Enquiry forms: when you submit a form on our website, we collect your name, email address, phone number and the message you write.
  • WhatsApp and phone: if you contact us by WhatsApp or phone, we receive your phone number, name (as shown on WhatsApp) and anything you choose to share. WhatsApp messages are handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy.
  • Email: if you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
  • Button usage: when you tap a WhatsApp or call button, our website records which page the tap came from and which button was used. This count does not identify you. To avoid counting the same tap twice, your IP address is combined with a secret key and stored in a scrambled (hashed) form for 30 seconds, then deleted.
  • Technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
  • Comments: if you leave a comment on a blog post, we collect the name, email address and comment you submit, along with your IP address and browser details to help detect spam.

We do not ask for, and you should not send through this website, sensitive documents such as PAN, Aadhaar, bank details or financial statements. If we work together, we will share a secure way to exchange such documents.

3. Why we use your data

  • To respond to your enquiry and discuss the services you are interested in.
  • To provide our services if you become a client, and to meet our legal, regulatory and professional obligations.
  • To keep our website secure and understand which pages help visitors get in touch.

We use your data on the basis of the consent you give when you contact us, and for other legitimate uses permitted by law. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see section 7). We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your permission.

4. Third-party services on our website

Some parts of our website are provided by third parties, who may receive your IP address and basic browser information when the page loads:

  • Google Fonts (fonts) and Google Maps (office maps on our Contact page): Google LLC.
  • jsDelivr (website code libraries).
  • WhatsApp and LinkedIn, only if you click their links.
  • Gravatar (Automattic), if you leave a blog comment.
  • Hostinger, our website hosting provider.

Each of these services processes data under its own privacy policy. Some of them may store data outside India.

5. Cookies

Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you leave a comment, you may choose to save your name and email in a cookie so you don’t have to type them again; this cookie lasts one year. Third-party services listed above, such as Google Maps, may set their own cookies.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry details for up to 3 years from our last contact with you, after which we delete them. If you become a client, records relating to our engagement are kept for as long as required by applicable law and professional regulations. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period for security purposes.

7. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

  • ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • ask us to correct, complete or update your personal data;
  • ask us to erase your personal data, unless we are required by law to keep it;
  • withdraw your consent at any time;
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in case of death or incapacity; and
  • have your grievances addressed.

To use any of these rights, contact our grievance officer below.
